Wildcat boys in 79-58 victory over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows

Humboldt's varsity boys' basketball team picked up another North Central Conference victory Tuesday night (Dec. 16), topping Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 79-58 in Clarion. Humboldt is now 5-1 overall on the season, 3-0 in conference play.Humboldt defeated Hampton-Dumont, 81-65 Friday night (Dec. 12) in a North Central Conference game in the Wildcat gym.Humboldt will host Iowa Falls-Alden on Friday, Dec. 19, in their final game before the Christmas break.See complete story in the Humboldt Independent. HHS wrestlers win Ogden dual tournament, move to 11-0

Humboldt moved to 11-0 on the season in dual wrestling by winning the Ogden tournament on Saturday (Dec. 13). Humboldt went 5-0 on the day as they defeated North Butler 48-24, Clarke Osceola 69-12, Carroll Kuemper 63-15, Ogden 57-11 and Gilbert 9-26.The Wildcats return to action on Dec. 18 at Clarion in a key conference double dual with the Cowboys and Webster City. Wildcat matmen whip Algona, St. Edmond for 6-0 dual mark

The Humboldt High wrestling team pushed their season dual record to 6-0 by whipping Algona and Fort Dodge St. Edmond Thursday night (Dec. 11) in the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats pounded Algona 63-13 and St. Edmond 54-20. Humboldt is now 2-0 in the North Central Conference. HHS will compete in the Ogden tournament on Saturday, Dec. 13.
