COOK OF THE WEEK - ST. MARY 1ST GRADERS

When I was invited to come and visit a classroom of first graders to be the Cook of the Week, I was excited because I love to be around children. BUT, I wondered what kind of questions I would ask them because most first graders aren’t really big or old enough to do much cooking. Well, when I got to Mrs. Amy Gotto’s first grade class at St. Mary’s School in Humboldt, I had no problem visiting with the children. Mrs. Gotto helped me out a whole lot with what questions we would ask them so I didn’t have any difficulty. But first I introduced myself and told them where I live. Three or four children excitedly raised their hands to let us know they also lived in my town.
