As Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) moves forward this week with a new medical hub addition for health clinic and outpatient services, the Board of Trustees heard some good news during their regular monthly meeting on July 25.
“Our gross revenues continue to be strong,” HCMH Chief Executive Officer Michelle Sleiter said. She said the hospital could see an additional $20,000 to $30,000 in revenue for June before the books are closed out on the month and the hospital’s operating year.
For the fiscal year, the hospital revenues were 4.8 percent above budget and 6.6 ahead of the previous year.
As operations start in the new medical wellness hub, Sleiter is pleased with the budgeting, expense and financing aspects of the new addition and work on the existing hospital.
