Humboldt County Fair July 21-27

Tough Truck competition at the 2019 Humboldt County Fair.

As of right now, the 2020 Humboldt County Fair will be held July 21-27 at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.
After careful consideration, the Humboldt County Fair Board voted June 8 to have the fair, following the most current proclamations or orders from the Iowa Department of Public Health as provided by Governor Kim Reynolds.
“We understand things could change between now and the fair. Safety is of great concern. We’ve discussed multiple options if things change and we will be able to change with the proper protocal,” Fair Board President Jeff Haselhuhn said.
Haselhuhn said the Fair Board has received many positive comments about having the fair.
“We are fortunate that Humboldt County has had a low number of cases. I think our community has been responsible social distancing and staying home if you don’t feel good,” Haselhuhn said.
