HHS returns 16 lettermen

Humboldt wrestling coach Chad Beaman has built a consistent winner over the last decade. Based on the return of 16 lettermen, there’s no reason why the Wildcats cannot duplicate last year’s overall dual record of 20-4, including 6-1 and first in the North Central Conference.
On top of that, Humboldt also competed in the Class 2A state dual team tournament, where they placed eighth. Individual state qualifiers Jase Goodell and Colten Goodell also return.
“We wrestled a total of 24 duals last year so every letterwinner saw varsity action at some point last year. We graduated five seniors who were in our varsity lineup but we have 16 guys back with varsity experience,” Beaman said.
