Humboldt County vaccine doses continue at about 100 per week

Humboldt County continues to receive an allocation of 100 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine per week. This limited supply is challenging, Humboldt County Public Health reports, as number of individuals wishing to be vaccinated is outpacing the limited supply.
Humboldt County Public Health continues to work with the state on allocation numbers, and is hopeful the amount will be increasing in the future.
“We have received notification from the Iowa Department of Public Health that due to the winter weather conditions in the U.S. there may be a delay in vaccination distribution over the next week,” Humboldt County Public Health Director Joleen Sernett reports. “We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed.”
