Lions Club to host trivia competition March 4

By KENT THOMPSON
Who, in 1903, was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize? Answer, Marie Curie.
If you know that, or many other answers, you could be a trivia winner at the Humboldt Lions Club first ever trivia competition to be held Saturday, March 4, at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds Events Center at 7 p.m.
“We won’t be selling food or drink, but encourage people to bring their own. The tables are fairly inexpensive, $50 for a table of 5-8 team members ($60 at the door). We would love to see 20-30 tables sell. We would like to see businesses compete, banks in the community, school teams, organizations and groups of friends,” Lions Club members George Bruder and Dean Clasen said.
