Humboldt girls, boys sweep Iowa Falls-Alden

Humboldt's varsity girls and boys basketball teams rolled to a pair of easy victories over Iowa Falls-Alden Friday night (Jan. 30) in Iowa Falls. The Wildcat girls improved to 9-7 overall on the season, 7-4 in the North Central Conference, with a 63-32 victory over the Cadets. Kessa Kuyper scored 17 points and Avery Terwilliger added 13 to lead Humboldt. The Humboldt boys also won big, taking a 75-36 conquest over the Cadets. Humboldt is now 11-4 overall, 8-2 in the NCC.The Wildcats return to action on Monday, Feb. 2, when they visit Algona Bishop Garrigan in non-conference play.
