Ersland, Purdue send 8 wrestlers to nationals

Tony Ersland likes the steps his Purdue University wrestling team has taken this season. Ersland, a Humboldt native in his first year as head coach of the Boilermakers, told the Independent on Monday he's pleased with the way his squad has bought into his philosophy and approach. Purdue is coming off last weekend's Big Ten Conference tournament where the Boilermakers placed 10th in the team scoring but will send eight wrestlers to the NCAA nationals Mar. 19-21 in St. Louis.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
