Wildcat girls win 4 events, take 2nd in own relays

Humboldt won four events and claimed runner-up honors in their own Wildcat Relays Monday night (April 27). Humboldt finished with 118.5 points. Pocahontas Area/L-M won the meet with 160 points. Algona was third with 98 in the eight-school field. Beth Duffield won the 200 and 400-meters for the Wildcats while Maddie Kampen took the 800-meters. The Wildcats also claimed the distance medley relay.Humboldt will run in the Storm Lake Relays on Thursday, April 30.See full story in the Humboldt Independent.
