New city clerk for Livermore

Following action last week, the Livermore City Council hired longtime city treasurer Janet Berte to the position of city clerk. Berte will handle all of the city clerk duties and will work approximately 30-35 hours per week. The city will be looking for a part-time city treasurer. The person will need bookkeeping and accounting experience and will be employed approximately 15-20 hours per week. Berte is succeeding Tyler Dodds, who resigned from the position last month.
