School registrations take place

Humboldt school registration takes place Aug. 5-6 at the Humboldt Middle School cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Last names A-M are asked to come in on Wednesday, Aug. 5. Last names N-Z are asked to come in Thursday, Aug. 6, or if unable to come in on Wednesday. School begins on Monday, Aug. 24, for grades 5-12. For grades K-4, school begins on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Preschool (ECLC) begins on Thursday, Aug. 27. Students and parents will take part in parent-teacher conferences on Aug. 24-25. These will be scheduled at registration time. These conferences take the place of open house at Mease and Taft Elementary Schools. Open House is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Humboldt Middle School, and 6-7:30 p.m. at Humboldt High School. There will be ninth grade orientation at 6 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the high school auditorium. In addition, the Humboldt Music Boosters will be selling the 2015-16 Humboldt Community School activities calendars for $5 at school registration.Twin Rivers Twin Rivers students in grades 6-12 can register at Humboldt Middle School on Wednesday, Aug. 5, or Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Twin Rivers grades Pre-K through fifth grade can register at the school in Bode on Monday, Aug. 17, or Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At registration, all K-5 parents will select a conference time to visit with their student’s teacher to discuss needs and expectations for the school year. Students are expected to join parents for this conference time that will occur on Monday, Aug. 24, or Tuesday, Aug. 25. For grades 6-12, school opens on Monday, Aug. 24, at Humboldt. First day of school for Twin Rivers PK four-year-olds and grades K-5 will be Wednesday, Aug. 26. First day of school for three-year-old preschool will be Thursday, Sept. 3.St. Mary’s Registration at St. Mary’s School in Humboldt will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 17-18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an Open House for the Rising Stars Preschool, Shining Stars PreKindergarten, and grades kindergarten through sixth grade on Sunday, Aug. 23, from 5-6:30 p.m. First day of school will be Monday, Aug. 24.Gilmore City-Bradgate Gilmore City-Bradgate, school registration takes place on Monday, Aug. 10, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the school in Gilmore City. Registration takes place at West Bend on Monday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open House is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20, from 4-6 p.m. There will be a three-year-old preschool parent meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 5:30 p.m. First day of classes will be Monday, Aug. 24.
