Spencer downs Humboldt in football opener, 24-13

The Spencer Tigers scored twice in the opening two minutes of the game and went on to defeat Humboldt, 24-13 in a Class 3A non-district football game in Spencer tonight (Aug. 28) in season-opening action.The Wildcats' two scores came on a 45-yard fumble return by Devon Clark and a 1-yard run by Kyle McBeth.
