Carroll runs past Humboldt, 42-14

Carroll's multi-faceted football team proved to be too much for the Humboldt Wildcats Friday night (Sept. 18) as the Tigers rolled to a 42-14 victory over the Wildcats at Mason Maach Field in Humboldt. The loss dropped the Wildcats' season record to 1-3 overall, 1-1 in Class 3A District 2. Humboldt trailed 28-6 at halftime.The Wildcats return to action on Sept. 25 when they travel to Algona for another District 2 contest. Algona is coming off a loss to Webster City.
