No. 7 ranked Hampton-Dumont (Class 3A) avenged an early-season loss to Humboldt by handing the Wildcats a 55-46 setback Friday night (Jan. 22) in the Humboldt gym. Avery Terwilliger scored 13 points and Talyn Larsen added 11 to lead Humboldt, which slipped to 9-5 overall, 7-2 and runner-up in the North Central Conference. H-D improved to 8-1 in the NCC.Humboldt will visit Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on Tuesday, Jan. 26, and host Iowa Falls-Alden on Friday, Jan. 29.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
