HHS girls 3rd in Wildcat Relays

Lots of PRs. Personal records were aplenty Monday night (April 25) in the Humboldt Wildcat Relays. Humboldt head girls’ track coach Dean Clasen saw a lot of bright spots in his team’s home meet. While his squad finished third behind Pocahontas Area and Algona in the team scoring, the competitive meet produced numerous season and career bests for the Wildcats. Perfect timing as Humboldt enters the final crucial stretch of the season. Humboldt’s 4x800-meter relay set a meet record time of 10:00.57. Beth Duffield, Olivia Hildreth, Kate Curran and Gabby Kent comprised the winning relay. Humboldt will run in the Storm Lake Relays on April 28.
