HHS girls top Algona, Emmetsburg in high school golf

Humboldt kept up its winning ways on the golf course by downing Algona by 21 strokes on April 22 in Humboldt, 193-214. Brooke Anderson was meet medalist to lead the Wildcats as she fired a 47. Avery Terwilliger carded a 48. Terwilliger and Taylor Gidel each had a 48. Terwilliger won by the tie-breaker on handicap holes. Humboldt traveled to Emmetsburg on April 25 and posted a 188-206 victory over the E-Hawks. Halie George and Olivia Birdsell each shot a 46 to pace Humboldt.
