Wildcat boys win Lynx Relays

Putting together their best performance to date, the Humboldt High boys’ track team dominated the field in winning the Webster City Lynx Relays last week (April 19). The Wildcats won five events and secured top-three finishes in other events to take top honors with 142 team points. Iowa Falls-Alden was second at 105.5. Humboldt also won the JV team scoring as well. “I think this was our best meet so far this year,” Wildcat head coach Greg Wickett said. “We finally got some great weather to compete in and the kids really stepped up and posted some good performances.” Humboldt will run at Storm Lake on April 28 and compete at Algona on May 3.
