New care center administrator mentored by local woman

Dianne Panzi is the new administrator at the Humboldt North and South Care Centers. Panzi has been involved in geriatric care for more than 30 years.

Dianne Panzi, who has an extensive background in the caregiving profession, has brought her talent and experience to Humboldt Care Centers North and South, where she took on the duties of administrator in mid-April.
Panzi, who resides in Lehigh with her husband, Greg, is excited to be working in Humboldt.
“I have really enjoyed working in Humboldt. What I really enjoy about working here is that I see the staff offering extraordinary care to the residents of both facilities in a very professional way,” Panzi said. “There are many very long-term employees that work in both facilities that know their jobs well, take pride in what they do and go over and above the call of duty to make the lives of residents happy and safe.”
“I’m very proud to be part of the team of these two fine nursing facilities and proud of the care that is offered our residents,” Panzi said.
Panzi, a Fort Dodge native, began her career as office manager at Grandview Care Center in Dayton in 1982.
Panzi says the late LaVon Runkle, a long-time Humboldt resident who was part owner and acting administrator in Dayton at the time, helped give Panzi career direction.
