Jack Banwart's towering home run over the centerfield fence in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate baseball team past Sioux Central, 12-10 Tuesday night (July 12) in Algona at Garrigan Field. The victory improved the Wolverines' season record to 12-13 overall. WBM/GCB advances into a district semifinal in Fort Dodge on June 14 against Fort Dodge St. Edmond, a 7-2 winner over Manson-Northwest Webster.
