Humboldt Fareway makes plans for new location

Fareway Stores, Inc. has property under contract in Humboldt, two blocks west of the intersection at Highway 169 and Highway 3, in order to construct a new store to replace the existing location at 710 First Ave. N.
Fareway is working in coordination with the current property owner and local officials, with necessary documents being prepared to be presented at a public meeting in the near future.
Fareway intends to construct an approximately 19,000 square foot Fareway grocery store. When opened, the new store will provide increased options for consumers, while continuing to offer an unmatched, full-service meat department; farm-fresh produce; low, competitive prices and the highest level of customer service that area residents have come to expect from Fareway.
