Wildcat girls hold off IFA, move to 22-0

The No. 8 ranked (Class 3A) Humboldt volleyball team kept its season record unblemished by turning back Iowa Falls-Alden in four sets Tuesday night (Sept. 27) in the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats won by scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-21 and 26-24. Abby Zaugg made 20 kills to power the Wildcats. Humboldt is now 22-0 overall, 4-0 and first in the North Central Conference standings.

Humboldt visits Hampton-Dumont on Thursday, Sept. 29. Humboldt visits Algona on Oct. 6 and plays in the Mason City tournament on Saturday, Oct. 8.
