Humboldt football team falls at Spirit Lake, 34-28

Despite an impressive and hard-fought effort by the Humboldt High football team, Spirit Lake rallied to pull out a 34-28 victory over the Wildcats in Class 3A District One action at Spirit Lake Friday night (Sept. 30). The loss drops Humboldt to 1-3 in district play, 2-4 overall on the season. Humboldt returns home for its final contest at Mason Maach Field on Oct. 7 when Sergeant Bluff-Luton visits Humboldt for another district battle. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
