Death by Design dinner theater at River Valley Orchard

A cranky Irish maid, a Cockney ladies man, a hat obsessed actress, a self involved playwright, an adulterous politician, a crazed radical, a Bohemian artist, and a gun slinging sweetheart all walk into an English country manor… Its not the start of a terrible joke, it’s the plot of “Death by Design,” the Humboldt Dramatic Arts Guild’s next dinner theatre performance!
The show will be held at the River Valley Orchard and Winery on October 21 and 22. The winery is located at 1645 220th Street, about four miles west of Humboldt on Highway 3. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Dinner will be lasagna with minestrone soup and garlic bread twists. The winery will also have a full bar available, as well as a variety of their own wines for sale.
Tickets are being sold at V&S Variety on Sumner in Humboldt at $30 per plate. There will be tickets for sale at the door, given there are seats left. For questions about ticket purchases, please call V&S Variety at (515) 332-1961.
