Mark Perry to lead Humboldt wrestling clinic April 8

Mark Perry, a former two-time national champion at the University of Iowa and now in his sixth year as associate head coach at the University of Illinois, will lead a wrestling clinic at Humboldt High School on Saturday, April 8.
The clinic is for youth in grades 3-12 and begins at 12 noon. The first two hours of the clinic will cover technique. There will be a break from 2-3 p.m., with another technique session taking place from 3-5 p.m.
Cost to pre-register is $30. Walk-ins on the day of the camp will pay $35. Pre-registration is due April 1. Checks can be made payable to Wildcat Wrestling Club.

Perry was a four-time All-American at the University of Iowa, where he won two national titles for the Hawkeyes. He has served as assistant coach at Penn State for one season, and Cal Poly for one season. He was also co-head coach of Cal Poly for one season.
