Ersland, Purdue send 3 to NCAA meet

The Purdue University wrestling team, coached by Humboldt native Tony Ersland, qualified three individuals for this week’s NCAA Division I-A Championships to be held in St. Louis.
“The three guys we have going this week have been wrestling the best all year. They’ve shown the most consistency and so I feel good about those three we are taking,” Ersland told the Independent on Monday.
