A company that started on a farm in the 1950s continues to support the agriculture community with a variety of products.
Jet Company was founded on a farm near Gilmore City in 1952, by Merle Heider.
Today, Jet Company is operated by second and third generations of the Heider family. Jet Company is a leading producer of grain hopper, flatbed, drop deck, side dump, and hydraulic detachable gooseneck trailers. The company produces those trailers in a factory in Humboldt.
Jet Company’s manufacturing techniques have become more efficient with less waste. Jet also incorporates recycling into their processes as well.
“Farmers are good stewards of the land and we want to be as efficient as possible and be good stewards as well,” Scott Heider said.
