Girls stop Storm Lake in soccer, boys fall

Humboldt's girl/boy soccer teams began their seasons Thursday night (April 6) against Storm Lake. The Wildcat girls posted a 1-0 victory at Storm Lake as Jaydn Smith scored the only goal on the night. Humboldt's boys fell to defending state champion Storm Lake, 6-1. Brayan Cano Rodriguez scored the only Wildcat goal.

The Humboldt boys are in action Friday night at Clear Lake. The boys will also host Webster City on Monday, April 10, and host Fort Dodge on April 11. The girls host Aplington-Parkersburg on April 13.
