HHS girls win golf opener by 53 shots

Humboldt's varsity girls' golf team won their season opener Friday night (April 7) by 53 shots over Pocahontas Area. Humboldt totaled 194 while the Indians shot 247. Olivia Birdsell and Brooke Anderson each shot a 48 to lead Humboldt. Halie George and Frances Carlson each had a 49.
Humboldt returns to action in the Perry Invitational on Saturday, April 8. The Wildcats will host Iowa Falls-Alden and Webster City on Tuesday, April 11.
