Wildcat softball team in 10-4 victory over Webster City

The No. 4 ranked Humboldt softball team moved to 4-0 on the season by turning back Webster City, 10-4 on Friday night (May 26) in Humboldt. Humboldt is now 2-0 in the North Central Conference.

HUMBOLDT 7, MANSON-NW 0
Humboldt shutout Manson-Northwest Webster, 7-0 in seven innings on May 25 in Humboldt. Avery Terwilliger pitched a one-hitter for Humboldt while Beth Duffield mad three hits to lead the Wildcats' seven-hit attack.

HUMBOLDT 13, CLARION-GOLDFIELD-DOWS 0
Humboldt moved to 2-0 on the young season by shutting out Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, 13-0 in six innings Wednesday night (May 24). Ellie Jacobson pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine. Jacobson and Carlie Thompson each had three hits to pace Humboldt's 15-hit attack.

HUMBOLDT 8, OGDEN 0
Humboldt picked up an 8-0 victory over Ogden Monday night (May 22) in their season opener.

Ellie Jacobson pitched a seven-hitter and Olivia Birdsell went 3-for-3 at bat and Beth Duffield was 2-for-4 to lead the Wildcats.
