Wildcat baseball team falls at Clear Lake, 7-2

The Humboldt baseball team saw their record dip to 5-3 overall on the season, 1-1 in North Central Conference play, after they fell at Clear Lake on Friday night (June 2), 7-2. A three-run fifth inning powered the host Lions. Owen Newton took the loss pitching for Humboldt. He was backed by six hits at the plate as the Wildcats were led by Isaac Thurm and Hudson Gargano each with two hits.

Humboldt hosts their own tournament on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
