Wildcat baseball team in 6-4 victory at Clarion

Humboldt took an early lead on Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and never let up in posting a 6-4 victory over the Cowboys on June 30 at Clarion. Hudson Gargano earned the win on the mound for the Wildcats, who moved to 15-9 overall on the season, 7-5 in North Central Conference play. The Wildcats collected eight hits in the contest.
HUMBOLDT IN 7-4 VICTORY AT ALGONA
Humboldt's varsity baseball team won its fourth straight game Wednesday night (June 28) in Algona by stopping the Bulldogs, 7-4. The triumph made it a season sweep of Algona this year by Humboldt, which improved to 14-9 overall, 6-5 in the North Central Conference.
Humboldt returns to action on Monday, July 3, when they host Webster City.
