Child Care kickoff event is July 11

This is a copy of the sticker that will be given to employees of local businesses who donate $5 to wear jeans on Tuesday, July 11, part of a daylong kickoff to the Kiddie Cat Child Care and Learning Center. There will be a mini-carnival at the site of the center, north of Mease School in Dakota City from 5-8 p.m. that evening. The public is invited to attend.

The community kickoff to the Kiddie Cats Child Care and Learning Center will be held Tuesday, July 11, at the Mease Elementary School grounds with a fun-filled night from 5-8 p.m.
There will be inflatables, face painting, crazy hair and more for just $10 (wristbands provided).
There will be baked goods for sale and HyVee will also be providing a meal to purchase.
In conjunction with the July 11 kickoff, the Kiddie Cats Child Care and Learning Center is interested in having a community-wide business fund-raiser, by having employers allow their employees to wear jeans Tuesday, July 11, for a $5 donation. Employees will be given stickers to show their support. A photo of the sticker is pictured. It incorporates the color scheme of the Kiddie Cat Child Care logo with paw prints and the words “Children are my Business.”
If your business is willing to participate, please contact Alissa O’Connor at (515) 332-2557 or by e-mail at: alissa@humboldtcountyiowa.com. She will provide stickers that employees can wear when they donate.
