Humboldt volleyball team goes 2-2 in MC tournament

Humboldt's varsity volleyball team went 2-2 in the Mason City tournament on Saturday, Oct. 7. Humboldt defeated Clear Lake (2-0) and St. Ansgar (2-0) and lost to Waverly-Shell Rock (2-1) and Osage (2-0).

Humboldt fell at home to Algona Thursday night in four sets in North Central Conference action. The Wildcats fell by scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-27 and 24-26.

Humboldt is now 22-7 overall, 4-2 in conference play. Humboldt will play at home against Bishop Garrigan on Tuesday, Oct. 10. They'll visit Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Oct. 12 in their final game of the regular season. Humboldt opens Class 3A Regional tournament play at home against Pocahontas Area on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
