Humboldt falls to Sioux Center in region one final

The Humboldt volleyball team gave top-ranked Sioux Center a bit of a challenge in the first set of their Class 3A Region One championship match Monday night in Cherokee, but it wasn't enough as the Warriors went on to sweep the Wildcats in three sets. Sioux Center defeated Humboldt by scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-10 to advance into the state tournament.
Humboldt, meanwhile, ends its season with an overall match record of 26-8.
