Humboldt boys post 50-48 victory at Manson

Humboldt picked up its first win of the season by stopping Manson-Northwest Webster, 50-48 on Nov. 28 in Manson on Nov. 28 in a non-conference boys' basketball game. Jamison Heinz and Calvin Carlson each scored 12 points to lead Humboldt. Isaac Thurm was next with 10. Cameron Krebsbach had 17 for the Cougars.

GARRIGAN PULLS AWAY FROM HUMBOLDT BOYS, 76-63
The Humboldt boys gave Bishop Garrigan everything they had Monday night (Nov. 27) before falling 76-63 in a non-conference high school basketball game in the Humboldt gym. Calvin Carlson poured in 33 points to lead all scorers to pace the Wildcats. Jamison Heinz was next with 12 and Isaac Thurm made eight for Humboldt. Cade Winkel and Angelo Winkel each had 24 to lead Garrigan.

Humboldt, 1-1 on the young season, travels to Ogden on Monday, Dec. 4, for a non-conference game.
