Webster City rallies past Humboldt boys, 53-43

Webster City outscored Humboldt’s boys 19-8 down the stretch en route to a 53-43 victory over the Wildcats in a North Central Conference basketball game in Webster City Friday night, Dec. 8. The loss dropped Humboldt to 1-3 overall, 0-1 in conference play. Webster City moved to 3-0, 1-0. Humboldt’s biggest lead was 29-20 at one point. Jamison Heinz scored 12 points and Austin Brant and Owen Terwilliger each had 9 to lead Humboldt.

OGDEN TOPPLES HUMBOLDT BOYS, 54-45
Ogden handed the Humboldt boys basketball team a 54-45 setback Monday night (Dec. 4) in Ogden in non-conference varsity action. Jamison Heinz scored 20 points, Calvin Carlson added eight and Owen Terwilliger made seven to lead the Wildcats, who slipped to 1-2 overall on the season. Ogden was led by Ben Heeren with 21 and Kayden Kruse with 11.

The Wildcats will host Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Dec. 12.
