Humboldt girls, boys fall to St. Edmond

Humboldt's varsity girl/boy basketball teams both suffered home losses to Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

The Wildcat girls lost on a last-second, desperation 3-point bank shot at the buzzer, 45-42. Sydney Lane scored 15 points and Mady Lange eight to pace the Wildcat girls, who fell to 1-5 overall on the season, 1-2 in North Central Conference play.

Humboldt's boys were outscored 31-11 in the fourth quarter in falling 65-43 to St. Edmond. Jamison Heinz scored 15 points to spark the Wildcats, who fall to 1-4 overall, 0-2 in conference play.

Both teams return to action at Clear Lake on Friday, Dec. 15, in another NCC matchup. Humboldt returns home on Dec. 19 to host Hampton-Dumont.
