Wildcat girls fall short at GHV, 44-39

Humboldt's varsity girls' basketball team came up short in a non-conference game at Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Thursday night (Dec. 21), falling 44-39 to the Cardinals.

Jori Hajek scored 13 points, Mady Lange made eight and Sydney Lane added seven for Humboldt, which enters the Christmas break with a 2-7 overall record.

Humboldt will be off until Friday, Jan. 5, when they host Iowa Falls-Alden in a North Central Conference matchup.
