2nd half sinks HHS boys at St. Edmond, 71-55

Humboldt's varsity boys basketball team couldn’t stop a strong second half effort by Fort Dodge St Edmond Friday night in Fort Dodge as the Wildcats fell by a final score of 71-55. Humboldt trailed by five at halftime, 27-22, but couldn’t get any closer. Humboldt falls to 5-8 overall, 3-5 in the NCC. They’ll host Webster City on Jan. 23.

Humboldt saw their win streak end at three games Tuesday night (Jan. 16) in a North Central Conference game in Algona. Algona pulled away late for a 50-38 victory over the Wildcats. Humboldt falls to 5-7 overall, 3-4 in the NCC. Algona improves to 5-7.
