New general manager for Humboldt Country Club

Tom Miller is the new General Manager of the Humboldt Country Club, overseeing both the golf course and clubhouse.
Miller comes to Humboldt from Fort Dodge where he worked at Lakeside Golf Course under Chad Graaf, who is a graduate of Humboldt High School and lives in Humboldt.
Miller, an avid golfer, is a 2009 graduate of Remsen-Union High School. He went to college and then decided to switch majors and entered the turf grass management program at Iowa Central Community College. At Iowa Central his instructor was Scott Birdsell, the HHS boys golf coach and a Humboldt resident.
Miller said he looks forward to getting the course ready for the upcoming spring and summer golf season.
