Wildcat girls blank Cadets, 10-0

Humboldt's varsity girls' soccer team improved their record to 2-0 on the season by shutting out CAL/Hampton-Dumont, 10-0 in Humboldt on April 10.

Amber Westling and Jaydn Smith each scored four goals and Chase Rice made two to power the Wildcats. The game ended early via the mercy-rule when Humboldt scored its 10th goal with 8:37 left in the second game.

The Wildcats will travel to Aplington on April 12 to face Aplington-Parkersburg. Humboldt visits Mason City on April 16 and will host A-P on April 19.
