Wildcat girls 2nd in NCC golf meet, tie for dual championship

The Humboldt girls' golf team had a pretty good day on Monday (May 7) competing in the North Central Conference meet in Mason City. The Wildcats finished second in the conference meet, totaling 399 strokes. Clear Lake won the team title with 387. Frances Carlson carded a 94 and Kenzie Mccarran shot 100 to lead Humboldt. Kelly Boleyn carded 101 and Maggie Bennett shot 104.

Earlier in the day the Wildcats, Fort Dodge St. Edmond and Clear Lake finished a postponed dual from last week and ended up finishing in a 3-way tie for first in the NCC regular season dual standings.
