Wildcat softball team opens with 2-1 victory

The Humboldt softball team opened their season on the road Monday night (May 21) by edging Ogden, 2-1 in a non-conference season opener for both schools.
The Wildcats got a 3-hit pitching performance from Ellie Jacobson, who struck out 13 and walked two. Carlie Thompson went 2-for-3 at bat with an RBI and Kyah Arnold was also 2-for-3.
Humboldt will host Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on Wednesday night, May 23.
