Girls set season record for wins with soccer victory

Humboldt's girls' soccer team set a school record for wins in a season by edging Storm Lake, 2-1 on May 22 in Humboldt. The victory in the regular season finale improved the Wildcats to 7-4 overall, the most wins in a season since the program began in 2013.
Cassie Peyton and Jaydn Smith both scored a goal for the Wildcats, who will host Iowa Falls-Alden on May 29 in a first round regional tournament game.
