Hy-Vee donates Trek bike to be given away at Family Fit Night

The final Family Fit Night for the season is set for Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m.
Hy-Vee is donating a $350 Trek bicycle to be given away to participants who have been at each of the Family Fit Nights this summer. The bike is valued at $350 and is a men’s Trek hybrid bicycle.
Family Fit Night is a free family event intended to promote fitness for all ages through running, jogging and walking. Participants can go any distance. Pets on leashes are welcome, as well as strollers. Snacks and water are available. There are giveaways and door prizes. C & D Party Rentals provides a bouncy house for kids to play in at Bicknell Park. There is a blood pressure station at Bicknell Park put on by Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
The course starts at Bicknell Park and proceeds on the Cottonwood Trail to the West River Rec Center (about 1.3 miles) and back to Bicknell Park.
Check the Humboldt Family Fit Night Facebook page for weather-related cancellations.
