Wildcat volleyball team rallies for 3-2 victory

The Humboldt volleyball team picked up a key North Central Conference victory Thursday night in Clarion, rallying from a 2-1 deficit to upend Clarion-Goldfield-Dows in five sets by scores of 18-25, 25-22, 26-28, 25-20 and 15-11.

The victory improved Humboldt to 22-2 overall, 3-1 in the NCC and in a three-way tie for first with CGD and Iowa Falls-Alden.

Humboldt will visit Hampton on Oct. 2 for another conference match before returning home to host Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Oct. 4.
