Wildcats shutout Webster City, 21-0

The Humboldt High football team put together an impressive performance Friday night by shutting out Webster City, 21-0 in a Class 3A District 2 clash at Webster City.

Humboldt scored twice in the first half on screen pass plays from Joey Busse to Jamison Heinz, covering 38 and 57 yards, respectively to put the Wildcats on top. Heinz scored on a 3-yard in the third quarter to make it 21-0.

Humboldt is 3-4 overall on the season, 2-1 in district play. Webster City is 3-4, overall, 1-2.
Humboldt returns home on Oct. 12 to host Carroll in another district matchup.
