Humboldt girls top Roland-Story in regional semifinal, 3-1

The Humboldt High girls volleyball team kept their post-season alive Tuesday (Oct. 23) night by turning back Roland-Story in four sets inside the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats won by scores of 25-20, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-15 to improve to 30-4 overall. Roland-Story bows out at 30-8.

The victory sent the Wildcats into a Class 3A Region 3 championship match against Osage on Monday, Oct. 29 in Clear Lake. Osage (28-6) downed Forest City in a semifinal match in Osage by scores of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-16.
