Wildcat boys win, girls fall at Hampton

The Humboldt boys picked up another North Central Conference victory while the Humboldt girls fell short in a doubleheader at Hampton Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The Wildcat boys breezed to a 60-40 victory over the Bulldogs to move to 4-1 on the season, 2-0 in NCC action. Jamison Heinz scored 14 points and Jack Arndt added 11 to pace the Wildcats.

In the girls game, Hampton-Dumont prevailed down the stretch, posting a 65-29 victory.

The Wildcats return home on Friday, Dec. 14, to host Clarion-Goldfield-Dows in another NCC night of basketball.
